Descrizione

Story of an Italian around the world

“What’s next” is a passionate dialogue between Carmine Mandola, CEO and CFO of several multinational companies around the world, and Roberta Rossi, writer and editor. This book was written after long talks (on Skype) in the period following the lockdown, which affected also Morocco, where Carmine lives now. It is a hymn to desire for freedom and independence, to escape from common places and situations incapable of offering a future to his own children.

Unconventional by nature, Carmine tells the path that led him to build a career from scratch, between work experiences and training courses, passions and desire to succeed, following the example of perseverance that his parents gave him.

His words hold the sunshine and adaptability typical of people from Campania, the frankness of the Belgians, the rationality of the Germans, the parochialism of the French, the will to live of the Israelis. Carmine says that he tried to take the positive aspects from every people he has dealt with, in order to improve and to become an example for his children, who are citizens of the world as he is, example of an Italy that knows how to go beyond its borders.
